Nope <3 I'm basing the character off of you remember? I'll have you act like you actually do. xD So, just make your design based off of how you'd want to be like. You can also have the kind of abilities you'd want. The story is based around magic, just don't go making yourself a god. Heh heh heh... Oh, you also have to be human. Too many people made themselves elves and that gets really sticky because of the story.
